
PURPOSE OF THE EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM
As technical recruiters in Portland we know firsthand how tight the market is for software engineers (java, .net, ruby, etc) and it is not much easier for I.T. professionals (network, systems, database, security, etc.) This is the case for contract or staffing services as well as full direct permanent recruiting services. It is because of this we have created our "cash money" (yes we watch Pawn Stars) referral program.
A $500 bonus will be paid to the referring employee/network member with a 90 day waiting period on a contractor or only a 30 day waiting period for a person who takes a direct or permanent position at a client of EnGn, LLC.
At certain times a bonus in the amount of either $1,000 or up to $1,500 will be paid for certain critical direct or permanent hires. Please discuss this with your contact or recruiter at EnGn, LLC to gain visibility into these critical roles.
All hiring decisions are based on the individual's qualifications to fulfill job requirements, without regard to the candidate's race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, disability or status as a disabled.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO RECIEVE A REFERRAL BONUS?
All EnGn, LLC employees or outside referrers are eligible for the employee referral bonus, with the following exceptions
- Account Managers and Recruiters (hey it is our job :-)
- Managers and supervisors who refer candidates who will report directly to them are ineligible for the referral bonus on those candidates. However, managers and supervisors are eligible for the referral bonus when referring candidates to other openings that they do not have influence on the hiring decision.
NOTE: Normally bonuses are paid to one individual, but a bonus award may be divided among more than one person. The total combined award will not exceed the stated bonus amount.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR REFERRING A CANDIDATE?
Employee or referrer should email a copy of the candidate’s resume to their contact at EnGn or recruiter. (using form to the right works as well) Please make sure to reference the job title/#. Contact or Recruiter will check BullHorn Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to insure an EnGn recruiter or account manager has not reached out to that person in the last 180 days. If the candidate is a viable referral then the recruiter will select "Cash Money Referral Program" as “Source” and attach a note that will associate the candidate with the referrer and the appropriate job.
WHICH POSITIONS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS?
The exact amount of the bonus will be determined by the specific bonus program in place at the time the candidate is hired. Only positions that are currently active on our job board are eligible for a referral bonus. See types of jobs we work on for our clients here.
